What THOTHUB is
THOTHUB exists to make enterprise networks predictable. From our Dublin headquarters we combine solution design, project delivery and operations: campus fabrics that survive change windows, WAN paths that fail over without a war room, and wireless that is surveyed rather than guessed.
The name is deliberate. Thoth, in classical sources, is associated with writing things down. Hub is the topology we prefer: a clear centre, documented spokes, and no silent peer-to-peer shortcuts that only one engineer remembers. Clients come to us when growth, a merger, a cloud move or an audit has made the current drawing unreliable.
We work in English, invoice in euro, and treat Irish data-protection and connectivity constraints as design inputs rather than afterthoughts. Where a site sits outside Ireland, Dublin remains the single point of accountability.
Catalogue
Network solutions we deliver
Each service is scoped with a high-level design, a low-level design, a test plan and an operations handover. We do not sell bandwidth; we design how bandwidth, policy and identity meet.
Campus LAN & data centre fabric
Leaf-spine or hierarchical campus designs, segmentation, QoS, and dual-core resilience for Dublin HQs and regional offices.
SD-WAN & WAN transformation
Underlay mixing of Irish last-mile, DIA and broadband with application-aware overlays, circuit diversity and measurable failover.
Wireless & private radio advisory
Predictive and on-site surveys, high-density design, guest isolation, and guidance on private 5G where campus Wi-Fi is no longer enough.
Network security & SASE
Firewall policy that matches the zones on the drawing, secure remote access, DNS control, and SASE edges aligned to identity rather than IP folklore.
Cloud on-ramps & DCI
Dedicated interconnects into public cloud regions used by Irish firms, data-centre interconnect, and hybrid routing that keeps return traffic honest.
Managed network operations
Monitoring, change, capacity and incident response with runbooks. Dublin remains the named owner even when the NOC follows the sun.
Where it lands
Typical environments
Professional services & HQ campuses
Docklands and IFSC floors where meeting-room wireless, visitor access and quiet voice quality matter as much as the core. We treat each floor as a documented pod, not a switch stack with folklore.
Shared services & multi-site retail
Irish store or clinic estates that need the same policy in Cork as in Dublin, with SD-WAN that survives a last-mile outage without a truck roll the same afternoon.
Technology & SaaS exporters
Dublin product companies with development in one building and production in a European region. Cloud on-ramps and zero-trust remote access sit on the same design as the office LAN.
Public sector & regulated operators
Environments that need change records, segregation of duties and evidence for auditors. We write the design so an assessor can follow it without a translator.
Method
How a THOTHUB programme runs
We keep the sequence short on purpose. Discovery is not a slide deck; it is a current-state drawing, a risk list and a decision log. Implementation is staged so production traffic moves once, on a named window, with a back-out that has been rehearsed.
Discover
Workshop in Dublin or on site. Circuits, identities, wireless heat and the unofficial workarounds all go on the same page.
Design
High-level then low-level designs, bills of materials, and a test plan that names pass/fail rather than “looks fine”.
Deploy
Staged cutovers, dual-running where needed, and cabling or carrier work coordinated so the logical design is not stranded.
Operate
Optional managed service: monitoring, monthly capacity notes, and a Dublin contact who still owns the drawing.
Location
Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland
THOTHUB is based at Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2 — the city’s technology and professional-services corridor between the IFSC and the south docks. Client workshops, design reviews and project governance sit here so Irish stakeholders do not have to brief a remote account team twice.
Dublin is also a practical network city: dense carrier meet points, transatlantic and European fibre, and a labour market that already speaks enterprise routing. We use that geography. Irish sites are visited; UK and EU spokes are designed from the same hub with local partners only where a physical presence is required.
Business hours for design and project work are Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:00 Irish time. Managed operations continue outside those hours under contract.

FAQ
Questions people actually ask
What does THOTHUB do?
THOTHUB is a network solutions company based in Dublin, Ireland. We design, implement and operate enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, firewall and cloud connectivity so organisations can run reliable, secure networks across Ireland and Europe.
Where is THOTHUB headquartered?
THOTHUB headquarters is in Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 2, Ireland. Engineering, project delivery and client workshops are coordinated from Dublin, with on-site work across the island of Ireland and remote support for European sites.
Which network services does THOTHUB provide?
Core services include campus switching and routing, SD-WAN, secure wireless, network security and SASE, data centre and cloud on-ramps, structured cabling oversight, and 24/7 managed network operations with documented runbooks.
Does THOTHUB work with existing carriers and cloud providers?
Yes. THOTHUB is vendor-neutral at the design layer. We integrate Irish and European carriers, public cloud on-ramps, and the switching, wireless and security platforms already present in a client estate rather than forcing a rip-and-replace.
How does a typical THOTHUB engagement start?
Most programmes begin with a discovery workshop in Dublin or on site, followed by a network assessment, high-level and low-level designs, a staged implementation, and an optional managed operations handover with SLAs.
Does THOTHUB offer 24/7 network monitoring?
Yes. Managed clients receive continuous monitoring, event correlation, change windows aligned to Irish business hours where possible, and escalation paths into THOTHUB operations in Dublin.
